Ready to be part of the solution by meeting needs in our community?

Join West Side on 5th Sunday service projects.

The first project of 2022 is January 30. Meet at 10:30 a.m. either at the church or at KVC Behavioral Health Services to help meet the needs of Topeka families and children.

You are invited to help by stuffing backpacks, filling travel-size shampoo bottles, and even helping to move some beds out of KVC's office to their storage unit in the parking lot.

Email for more information, or just show up with willing hands on January 30. Service projects will be available at the church and at KVC, located at 419 SW 29th St.

Learn more about foster care in Shawnee County by listening to

Lance Wilson, KVC Kansas, who spoke at West Side on Sunday, January 16 and John Hodder, a foster parent alongside his wife, Sheila, for over 25 years.

Masks are required for all volunteers.

The "R" in West Side's WEAR Love vision is
"Returning love through mission."
